I suffer from acid reflux but I have learned how to control it. First try and eat your dinner at least 4 hours before you go to bed. Use two pillows to properly elevate your head. If you need a snack after dinner try carrots or unsalted pretsels as they contain high levels of alkaline and thus neutralize acids. Try and loose a few pounds because belly fat puts pressure upon your abdomen and makes acid reflux more difficult to control and, last there are several acid reflux medications that can be taken with your lactose pill but you would still have to consult a physician to try and find the one that is right for you.
First question: how many hours pass after your last meal before you go to bed at night? Second question: what types of foods do you eat? I would suggest journalizing these naswers and doing a little more research to see what’s triggering this. Check out this website for more help:

I think you have to see your doctor.

It’s because you are laying down.
You need to elevate your head above your body. There is an acid reflux pillow designed for this.
